I’m Stephan Dipita, born on May 21, 1994, in Bomono Ba Mbenguè, a locality within Dibombari in the Moungo department of Cameroon’s Littoral region. I am a comedian, actor, and director, celebrated for my distinctive humor and storytelling. Growing up as the fourth of five siblings near Douala, I developed a passion for theater early in life, which led me to study theater formally.
I began my career in cinema, but soon found my true calling in comedy. My journey into the spotlight started with my first short film, “Frédéric Eto’o,” released in 2017. That same year, at the age of 23, I launched my first one-man show, “Mon ami virtuel.” My career continued to flourish with my second show, “How,” presented in 2021. My work was internationally recognized when I was awarded the RFI Talents du rire prize in December 2022, a testament to my impact and presence in the comedic scene.
Today I happily share my passion as a teacher in performing arts at the University of Douala.
