“Febe: Located between the Mbankolo and Bastos districts, the famous Mount Febe overlooks the chic districts of Yaoundé Bastos and Golf. With an altitude of about 1060 meters, it has a stone at its summit from which one can observe the city of Yaounde and on one of its flanks is built one of the most beautiful and big hotels of Yaounde “the Febe Hotel”.the name “Febe” in local language Ewondo means “wind” and comes from the fact that there is a lot of wind blowing through it and the air is generally fresh and pleasant.
