We will depart from Place Béssèkè, at the customs headquarters, Douala's first port. We will visit the most important memorial sites in the city of Douala. All the attractions we will visit are also listed in the description of attractions below. Each monument or site has its own particular history. At the end of this activity, you will have a thorough knowledge and understanding of the history of Douala and the evolution of this cosmopolitan and hospitable city.

After visiting all the key attractions in Douala listed below, we have a drink together and some grilled meats in a bistro.

- View of the "Ngondo" headquarters (Festival of the Sawa people)
- River separating the cantons of "Besseke" and "Bonakou" (Two sawa tribes the Bell and Akwa)

- Visit of the Woermann Line 5 Headquarters (One of the signatories of the German-Douala treaty)
- Headquarters of the Free French in 1940 (Chamber of Commerce where General de Gaulle stayed and organised the liberation of France with Senegalese riflemen)
- Stop at the cave of the Bell kings (where Ndumbé Lobè, signatory of the German-Douala treaty, August Manga Ndumbé, who built the Bell palace, and Douala Manga Bell, who was hanged by the Germans for refusing apartheid, are buried)
- Stop at the "Pagode" and the monument dedicated to the deceased of Mbanga Pongo
- Stop at to the Doual'art gallery (King Bell "s granddaughter)
- Pass by the front of the Courthouse (Former indigenous court)
- Visit of the monument of the unknown soldier
