Designed around the theme “Man, Nature and Beliefs”, the Bapa Community Museum aims at preserving and enhancing the socio-cultural, artistic, environmental and spiritual values of Cameroon in general and the Bapa people in particular.
Located in the community of Bangou, the museum was inaugurated on March 03, 2018 on the occasion of the first edition of the Pa’a Ngouok festival bringing together all the sons and daughters of the locality.
You will discover this architectural cultural heritage on a journey through 7 zones that each addresses a specific space housed in the center of the upper chiefdom of Bapa.
More than a museum, it is a place of recollection and communion with the spirits. And inside, you will find several objects that were used in the past. On the walls, you can see paintings evoking the history of the successions within the chieftaincy, the traditional royal dresses and many other vestiges that have been carefully preserved to welcome you.
