“Akok Ndoué” straddling the neighborhoods of Mendong, Etoug-Ebe and Nkolbison, Mount Akok Ndoué has a summit that faces from Mount Eloumden. With an altitude of about 970 meters, it has three natural caves. Its name, composed of “Ndoué” (sparrowhawks) in local language (Ewondo), comes from the fact that at the time, Many raptors lived in one of the caves whose entrance that its birds used to access a real rocky labyrinth is still visible today. At the top of the mountain, a magnificent view of the city of Yaoundé.
