Overview

The hike on the Nlonako mountain on an altitude of 1820 m, is a good exercise for your health and body. During your hike, you will discover the beauty of nature, the small pools designed to allow tourists to bathe and refresh themselves. You will also experience the water flowing from the top of the mountain to the bottom of the mountain. During your excursion, we will have a traditional meal with the chief of the village Egnoki at the chiefdom. This little moment will give you the opportunity to learn about the culture of the Egnoki and Sawa people. Mount Nlonako is a dream place that gives you an exceptional panoramic view of the city of Nkongsamba and its surroundings, you could materialize this experience with great photos.

The hiking activity on Mount Nlonako starts in Nkongsamba in the village Egnoki, 2 km from town.

The local meal we will have is not determined and standard. Cameroon has over 200 local dishes, however, we ususaly prepare the most accepted and easy to consume local food. You can always contact YENGAFRICA to alert us on any allergies.

The village of Egnoki is located at the foot of Mount Nlonako and the chief of this village is the main guardian of the heritage. He is the most appropriate person to tell us about the history of this mountain and its village, which dates back more than 50 years.
