“Poulet DG” (Director General), a gem of Cameroonian African cuisine, emerged in the 1980s. Originally a dry dish designed for busy professionals, it allowed for the quick enjoyment of chicken and fried plantains without the need for cutlery. A symbol of prestige, this dish has traditionally been reserved for nobility and high-ranking personalities. Over time, it has been enhanced with a rich sauce and a medley of vegetables. Its preparation is infinitely variable.
Our in-home chef will guide you in creating this dish with ripe fried plantains and perfectly golden chicken. And for vegetarians, removing the chicken yields a delicious stir-fry of colorful and flavorful vegetables.
Note: For this cooking workshop, the chef will bring all the necessary ingredients.
