Overview

In 1916, the Presbyterian Church in the United States of America officially established the American Presbyterian Mission in Cameroon, with Ebolowa as one of its main stations. The mission continued to expand, establishing churches, schools, and hospitals throughout the region.

The American Presbyterian Mission played an important role in the development of education in Cameroon but also had a notable impact on the spread of Christianity in the area. The missionaries preached the gospel and established churches, which attracted many converts. This led to a significant shift in religious beliefs, as many people abandoned traditional beliefs and practices in favor of Christianity. Our tour will take us closer to the ancient presbyterian churches, monuments and the main station built to serve the American presbyterian mission.
